We know what you are thinking: “My pets are protected from fleas and ticks using the recommended topical applications that I purchase from my vet.” And while these applications are of utmost importance, it is just as important to protect your yard itself.
Fleas like to congregate in the shady, moist areas of your yard such as under decks, porches, or places that are just out of reach of sunlight. Keeping your grass cut and your yard free of debris such as leaf piles, grass clippings, or any other organic material will keep them at bay, but they are still present.
Ticks like to hang out in areas where there are branches they can latch on to and wait for a host to walk by and attach its self.
Here is where we can help. Just as you apply topical applications on your pet, our lawn applications are applied in stages throughout the season to keep your yard under control.
Through the use of 3 well timed applications beginning in May we can greatly reduce the presence of fleas and ticks on the property. We will treat 10 feet into the lawn as well as 10 feet into any wooded areas creating a perimeter around the property. Landscape beds, ground cover, and ornamental plantings will also be treated.
